Hyoho Taisha Ryu ist eine Schwertschule die von Samurai Marume Kurando im ausgehenden 16. Jahrhundert in Kumamoto, Japan gegründet wurde. Heute wird sie von Soke Eriko Uehara, Shihan Takahiro Yamamoto und Shihan Shin-ichiro Tazoe geleitet.
Seit Anfang 2016 gibt es im Yamabushi Dojo eine kleine Trainingsgruppe, die dieser Schule beitreten durfte. Zurzeit wird außerhalb dieser Gruppe kein Unterricht angeboten. Veranstaltete Seminare mit Yamamoto-sensei sind aber für alle Interessenten zugänglich.
